The Young Life Young Professionals Board in Trussville is a dedicated team of community members passionate about investing in the next generation. Comprised of former Young Life participants, parents, and local leaders, our board is committed to ensuring that today’s youth not only hear about and experience the grace of Jesus Christ but also develop the skills and confidence to thrive as future young professionals.
Our Area Director, Linley Splawn, moved to Trussville in July of 2024. She grew up in the Birmingham area and attended The University of Alabama, where she was first introduced to the mission of Young Life. Linley was a Volunteer Young Life Leader in Tuscaloosa for 4 years, before moving to Madison, GA in 2021 to work for Young Life there.
Linley is excited for the future of Trussville Young Life & to foster mentorship and growth for students in the community for years to come! Ministry is active at Hewitt-Trussville High School, and it is our goal to expand to Hewitt-Trussville Middle School in the coming years.
